My Nephew and the Camera

My nephew has been in town and I just take his picture. He's a ham. He loves it. No more needs to be written - pictures are worth a thousand words - and I have at least a thousand:

The next three are my ABSOLUTE favorite:

He sure does love his Grandma:

Look at those sweet little feets!

He's already a ladies' man!

Gavin Leaves Me a Message

So... Cammie and Roman and all the kids came down because Kim is in town and we were having a big friend and family cookout. The kids were doing a little rough housing and after I gave them several warnings I yelled at them pretty good. I mean, they all stopped and marched in a single file line right out the door outside. A little while later, I heard what they said when they went outside. Apparently, they told my Aunt Angie that "Aunt Jenny just yelled at us" and then they all went and got in their family car. When my mom went to get them and tell them to come back they said "Aunt Jenny said we gotta go home". Obviously, I didn't say that. But it was pretty funny that they thought I was mad at them, when I really just yelled at them for not listening and told them to go play outside. I honestly didn't know I had it in me to do so much disciplining. I guess everyone has their limits. Anyway, the next day after I had already been home, I found this in the front of my Jeep. I was laughing, considering it "Gavin's message to me" as in a declaration of war. It cracks me up!!!

Blast: Colt 45

It's really not that much of a blast. It tastes like blue. It makes your tongue blue. It makes you blue. Basically, it blows.

Abide

I went down to Jill and Chris's for the Big Lebowski Fest. I must admit I have never seen the movie so I didn't really know what all the costumes were, but it was a good reason to hang out with friends and listen to some music. Music was performed by: Those Darlins, The Seedy Seeds, and How I Became the Bomb. Those Darlins were pretty good! And, apparently, Monty is in love with all of them. Hahaha. It ended up being REALLY hot so we were all outside sweatin' like crazy. Jill was worried no one was having fun, but everyone had a blast! Good times with good friends!

Erin tried to do this throw the bowling bag over the car to win a prize thing. She got pretty dang close!

There was also some hoop throwing thing to win some sweet sunglasses. And everyone got an "abide" stamp.

Some girl had a poo shaped thing on her head. And there were people dressed as money? Like I said, I have no idea what the costumes were... There was also a green man, terrorists?, and a lot of guys with long hair and bowling shirts.

Here are some pictures of Those Darlins:

Later on, Erin thought it would be awesome to wear my motorcycle helmet for a while. And I thought it would be a good idea to play with the cat toy.

The next day we all went out for a late breakfast/early lunch and watched a soccer game. Go USA!
