New Year - 2013

I don't have much to say about New Year's Eve. It happened. It was a good party. There was a usual amount of New Year's drama and drunken partying. We all dressed up.

The girls went out for the night. Here's how it went: Went to bar. Group hug with bartender. Went to bar. Caught ride with snow plow driver. Went to bar. Went to Stacy's to pass out. Evidence of crazy laughter and release of the kraken. Hangover unavoidable.

Oh and I practiced my hair for New Year's.

We Try. We Try Again.

Leslie and I went out on the town. No scenery at all. All we got were these two images to commemorate our night out. We had fun, but were sad at the lack of scenery.

Ugly Christmas Sweater / Martini / Breakdown Kings

Leslie and I went to Kathy's annual martini party that was a slash ugly christmas sweater party this year. It was pretty fun times. I went to pick up Leslie (late of course) and we got to the party around 8pm. Had a martini or two and some fluffed vodka (YUM) and sported our xmas gear. I got third place in the contest and won a lottery ticket. Unfortunately it was not a lucky ticket, but we had a good time anyway.

Left to go see Bry Bry and his band (The Breakdown Kings) at Birdy's later. Had a little flask time in the parking lot pre-bar. That's just how we do things...

I can't believe we ended up staying as long as we did. We watched the whole show and hung out with Doug and Ryan who are AWESOME FUN TIMES. I have a few things I could say about the other characters at the bar, but most of them would be somewhat unpleasant and so I'll keep my mouth shut and my mind open. ;) Goodness. Got a date for Thursday though... so that's something. We shall see. We shall see.

I went home on Saturday morning for a Santa Claus breakfast and cookie making time with my family. While I was there I saw this picture:

REIGNWOLF

Leslie and I went to First Friday at the Murphy Building in Fountain Square to see Reignwolf at a free show. Our minds were blown. I don't think I've ever seen a man with so much stage presence. Every girl in that room was going "WHAT?!?!" (in a good way). With our own crazy boy drama going on ALL NIGHT LONG it seemed, we were very happy to meet Reignwolf (Jordan Cook) after the show, get some pictures and some sweat. Yeah. I don't like sweat very much, but I was more than happy to get some of his on my cheek when we took a picture together. LOL. He seemed like a really nice, high energy kinda guy. He definitely made our night! You got two new fans Reignwolf!!! :)
